R.D. Mechanical Services was established some 14 – 15 years ago and since then have been involved in the maintenance, repair and servicing of all types of municipal vehicles and plant.
We specialize in equipment related to the Waste Industry and we have Modern well equipped workshop facilities here at Mallusk.
Anything from Hedge Trimmers, Strimmers, Mowers, through light and medium commercial vehicles to 26t Refuse collection and 8×4 Skip loaders. Wheelie Bins and Skip Compactors, Suction Roadsweepers (Compact and Truck mounted.)
We cover all types of repairs on the above from servicing and P.S.V. work to major overhauls of compaction equipment and refuse bodies. We can carry out all sorts of fabrication work including aluminium welding repairs.
We currently service compaction equipment for the likes of North Down Council, Larne Council, Newtownabbey Council.
We can also offer equipment for Recycling materials at Council and customers own site.
We service and maintain Refuse vehicles and Road sweepers for the likes of Belfast City Council, Craigavon Borough Council, Newtownabbey Borough Council etc.
We are the appointed service agent for Biffa Waste and SITA, two of the largest Waste companies in the UK.
We are the distributor for Schmidt U.K Ltd. and Ros – Roca Municipal bodies & equipment.
We have recently been appointed as agents for Legras Industries covering their range of Waste Transfer Stations and Walking floor trailers.
We do a full range of Industrial Sweepers and Scrubber Dryers from Dulevo International.
We can provide Consultancy services for any aspect of Waste Handling and we have the Maintenance ability to properly back up any equipment that you run.
